About the Scholarship
Over the years, the United States has emerged as one of the most expensive countries when it comes to annual tuition fees, often times the costs placing an enormous burden on the students. Here at Salaries Wiki, we believe that higher education is extremely important in the professional development of our young generations and, as such, we’ve decided to grant them an alternative funding option, by offering them a chance to win a $500 scholarship.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this scholarship program, the successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program
- Be in need of financial support
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Requirements
In order to apply for our scholarship program, you will need to submit an essay detailing your response to the following question:
“You’re at a job interview for an entry-level position at a multinational enterprise. It’s your first job interview. How do you go about negotiating your salary?”
The essay should be at least 400-words long and be written in a Word doc. The document should be titled as “Name – Salaries Wiki Scholarship Application”. The application should be submitted at scholarship@salarieswiki.com and contain all the following information: Full name, current address, phone number, average GPA, college name, and website.
The submission deadline is September 30th, 2017. All applications will be reviewed based on originality, grammar, research, and the student’s GPA.
The winner of the scholarship will be notified via e-mail by October 14th, 2017. If the applicant fails to respond within 5 business days, then the prize will be awarded to the second-best candidate.
